We had to move when she was still young and the new daycare wouldn't take cloth-even with a doctor's note-these were great, no rashes on dd's bum and the daycare never had a problem with them. We use the size up as there is something different about their sizing for us... for example our 8 mth old is 21 pounds (chunky) and even though that should put us for size...
